Introduction
Quadrilateral Tool Plug-in is a set of tools that can be easily selected, manipulated and edited in Sketchup.
It can create a logical quadrilateral-based topology structure. It can select circular and circular edges as other 3D modeling software. It can quickly add or delete circular and circular edges according to the selection, and process the UV mapping of quadrilateral.

Note: The Offset Loop Edge and Connect Edge commands are only valid in SketchUp2016 and later versions!


Select(Select) Animation Tutorial
Choosing the quadrilateral to be processed can penetrate the selection of group components, and even select the quadrilateral in hidden objects such as surfaces.

Grow Selection(Grow Selection) Animation Tutorial
Expand the selection area to the adjacent four sides.

Shrink Selection(Shrink Selection) Animation Tutorial
Remove the four sides of the boundary by shrinking from the selected area.

Select Ring(Select Ring) Animation Tutorial
Select all circular edges and surfaces according to the constituency.

Connect Edges(Connect Edges) Animation Tutorial
According to the number of segments set, before each two edges, a number of edges are connected to divide the quadrilateral.

Insert Loops(Insert Loops) Animation Tutorial

Remove Loops(Remove Loops) Animation Tutorial

Flip Triangulation Tool(Flip Triangulation Tool) Animation Tutorial
Flip the dividing line in the selected triangular quadrilateral, and leave the UV map and other perfect unchanged when flipping.

Triangulate(Triangulate) Animation Tutorial
All the selected quadrangles are unified and transformed into the quadrangles of hidden diagonal dividing lines.

Remove Triangulation(Remove Triangulation) Animation Tutorial
All the quadrilateral surfaces triangulated and transformed into standard quadrilateral surfaces in the same plane.

Triangulated Mesh to Quads(Triangulated Mesh to Quads)
First, a standard quadrilateral or two triangular planes of the same plane are selected as the datum, and an attempt is made to automatically transform the triangle into quadrilateral planes.

Blender Quads to QuadFace Quads(Blender Quads to QuadFace Quads)
Convert the imported quadrilateral in Blender software to the quadrilateral that can be edited by this tool.

Sandbox Quads to QuadFace Quads(Sandbox Quads to QuadFace Quads) Animation Tutorial
Convert the quadrilateral generated by sandbox tool into quadrilateral editable by this tool.

Paste the UV mapping settings onto the selected four sides.

The UV mesh is expanded into a flat surface.

Line(Line) Animation Tutorial
Draw lines between points.

Live Mesh Analysis(Live Mesh Analysis) Animation Tutorial
After opening, it can display the quadrilateral state in real time. Green is quadrilateral, blue is triangular, and red is other. The real-time display can be turned off by executing this command again.
