Sections Manager

Profile management is a floating window that can easily manage your profile and create scenes, cut plane groups or both for your profile view< br />
1. Activate command
After creating a section, activate the Section Management command, and the management tool window will appear. This is a standard web dialog. You can move, minimize, maximize, close and resize it< br />

2. Tools
Current: The name and symbol of the currently active section view. Select a section view in the list to activate it. If you want to deactivate all the sections, select" None< br />
Icon:
① Flip the section - Flips the direction of the cut plane< br />② Create a section - the same as the native function of SketchUp< br />③ Display section - the same as the native function of SketchUp< br />④ Display section cutting - the same as the native function of SketchUp< br />⑤ Display section fill - the same as the native function of SketchUp< br />⑥ Align view - click to display the current section view< br />⑦ Perspective/parallel view - click to switch perspective/parallel view< br />⑧ Create a section group - group the faces or edges of the selected section location separately< br />⑨ Display help - click to display model information and help documents< br />
3. Create a profile
Select the section of interest from the drop-down list. Click icon ⑧ to create a profile group. If there is no active profile, this prompt will pop up and the command will be canceled< br />

If there is an active section, a dialog box will be displayed:


Type:
Surface: Creates a group with edges and faces where the cut plane may have faces. You may need to do some cleaning to eliminate unwanted faces< br />Linetype: Like SketchUp, create a group with only edges (lines) at the intersection of the section and the model< br />
Scenario:
Yes: A new scene will be created and named with the section label< br />No: No scene (page) will be created in the model< br />
Layer:
Select a layer on which you want to put the section group. Note that we will name a layer" Section from section_ plane_ label"， Where section_ plane_ Label is the active section name< br />All entities of the section group are created on the default layer (Layer0), and the section group itself is placed on the layer you select. If this layer does not exist in the model, it will be created and will not be visible in the new scene< br />
Material:
Select a material from the list to apply to the section group. The material is applied globally to the group, not only to this entity< br />
Style:
Select from 3 options< br />Use Current: sets the current style to the new scene< br />Section management default: The default style of the plug-in will be set. Please feel free to modify this style to meet your needs< br />Section Management X...: The selected style will be loaded in the model and set for the scene. Please feel free to modify this style to meet your needs< br />Create for scene: default style will be set" Sections Manager Default"， It will be renamed with the name of the scene. Therefore, each part of the scene can have its own style. Please feel free to modify this new style to meet your needs< br />
Shadow:
Select from 3 options< br />No shadow: Sets the shadow of the scene to display without shadow< br />The shadow starts at 45 ° to the left: the shadow settings of the scene will be set, and the shadow comes from the upper left corner of the viewport< br />The shadow starts at 45 ° to the right: the shadow settings of the scene will be set, and the shadow comes from the upper right corner of the viewport< br />Note: The shadow option can sometimes produce strange results, especially when the section is not parallel to the XYZ axis< br />
